I have my life written down since 7th grade. Once and a while i find myself writing a blog - sometimes they may be worth reading. (: check them out every now and then!

There is just so much i want to talk about!
i don’t even know where to begin.
have you ever been so over joyed, you don’t know what to do with yourself?
maybe you have, and maybe you haven’t.. but i know i am - now.
i can’t even begin to express the incredible joy that i have.
and it’s all thanks to God!
i’m NOT just saying this to say it…
i seriously have not been able to stop thinking and thanking and learning and loving and worshiping GOD!
everything, EVERYTHING i do brings me into a new reality and understanding of who God is.
this world is HARD.. and things get rough..
but have you ever taken Christ at His word?
i mean, like… sometimes i think that even though we know in the back of our mind we know that “God can do everything and is able to bring us all kinds of blessings and such”… but do we ever actually.. BELIEVE Him?
i don’t know. i mean, YAY!! God’s awesome! HE did so much in THEIR lives!!
… but we don’t ever seem to believe He can part OUR Red Seas… ya know?
like… i don’t know, maybe it’s just me - but i seriously doubt it.
lately, i have been reading SO many verses that have had the word confidence in it.
CONFIDENCE.
one verse in Hebrews says “so that we may approach the throne of Grace with CONFIDENCE”…
CONFIDENTLY APPROACH THE THRONE OF GRACE!
sometimes i think that we mistake humility for fear and doubt…
like, go humbly to the Lord and present your requests to Him..
okay, humility of WHO HE IS, and ALL that HE CAN and WILL do for you!
not humility in the sense of…i don’t know.. like, a safety net.
like.. i don’t know if this is coming across how i want it to.. but what i DO know is that God wants us to approach Him with CONFIDENCE.
confidence in all He is and all HE is able to do.
when we doubt God and His abilities to part our Red Seas, or raise US from the dead or.. simply change our lives..
we dishonor Him.
go confidently in the confidence that you SHOULD have in the God who you know did SO much before..
He did it once,
what makes you think He can’t or WON’T do it for you too.?
i think that when we realize that God is on OUR side.. snd really comprehend what that means, we will be MORE THAN WILLING to go the extra mile, or give things up for His glory and honor.
